Break The Cycle
When two flatmates have to survive another lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic, their relationship is severely tested. As things intensify, some deep truths rise to the surface.
About
This project was made during the Covid-19 pandemic. The story was born during my experience being locked in my apartment for months with no contact anyone, for the exception of perhaps the cashier at the grocery store.
I made this film, because I felt I had to, the time was right, my mindset was conditioned from this virus outbreak. Fear was felt, life was questioned, and goals were analysed.
During the pandemic, I started thinking a lot about myself, my friends, and my family. The script was born out of arguments I had with myself as well as with others, and others that have shared their experience with me during the pandemic. This movie is the outcome of all of what I mentioned above.

More than 10 people helped bring this project to life. Nevertheless, we remained a small crew of only 3 people.

I’m happy with the way it turned out to be. Making sure that every scene had its reason to be there.
