Just In Time

When a teenager finds out his future self created a special way to travel through time, he realises he is being hunted by savage hitmen who are ready to do whatever it takes to steal his precious invention. To stay alive, he and his future self must work together in order to secure the present and stop the future from falling into the wrong hands.

About

This film centres around time travel and I’ve always wanted to explore this exciting genre. Science fiction is very hard to pull off as it requires a lot (usually) of visual effects, and special effects depending on the story. I had to be clever in the way I would build this world.

During my writing process, which was one of the longest and most difficult scripts I had experienced writing. How to make it all make sense, I needed to consider what happens before what happens after, if you change the past, then how this new future affected? I spent a few months writing the screenplay.

The editing process of this film was incredibly long. I spent a year (on and off), editing this film. This was my most ambitious project at the time and required good editing skills. I learned a great deal in being more organized as an editor as it involves repeating key scenes with subtle but significant changes. This is the longest film I’ve ever made with a record time of 53min.
