Just In Time
When a teenager finds out his future self created a special way to travel through time, he realises he is being hunted by savage hitmen who are ready to do whatever it takes to steal his precious invention. To stay alive, he and his future self must work together in order to secure the present and stop the future from falling into the wrong hands.
About
This film centres around time travel and I’ve always wanted to explore this exciting genre. Science fiction is very hard to pull off as it requires a lot (usually) of visual effects, and special effects depending on the story. I had to be clever in the way I would build this world.
During my writing process, which was one of the longest and most difficult scripts I had experienced writing. How to make it all make sense, I needed to consider what happens before what happens after, if you change the past, then how this new future affected? I spent a few months writing the screenplay.
The editing process of this film was incredibly long. I spent a year (on and off), editing this film. This was my most ambitious project at the time and required good editing skills. I learned a great deal in being more organized as an editor as it involves repeating key scenes with subtle but significant changes. This is the longest film I’ve ever made with a record time of 53min.

Checking that there is good continuity. Not shooting in chronological order and on top of that shooting a scene that has slight difference from another scene makes it all the more challenging. Overcoming fatigue.

Collaborating with visual effects and special effects artists, as well as creating an original music for the film.

Although extremely proud to have made my first feature film, there were quite a lot of technical issues that we can notice in the film. I made the mistake shooting day for night and not controlling the light as well… but other than these problems I think I’m very happy with the way I told the story, and the film takes you on an exciting ride.
